Our Teachers

Roshan Palat, Founder
Having pursued legal studies, Roshan Palat worked in the field of finance post completion of his degree. Introduced to the Puranas and the Upanisads at an early age due to the nature of his surroundings, increasing interest in the authentic practices of Yoga kept taking him to the birthplace of all the Yogas-the Indian Himalayas. Roshan met his Guru near an alpine village a few hours hiking distance from the mountain town of Uttarkashi.
Ganapati Baba’s teaching of the 4 Yogas of the ancient Mahasiddhas Lineage and the profound manner in which it was imparted changed Roshan’s life forever. Having decided to commit to his practices under Babaji, Roshan spent a further 3 years with his Guru. Being instructed to learn more about Mahakaruna / The Great Compassion and Shunyata/Emptiness, by his Guru, Roshan undertook a 3-year study into Mahayana Buddhism and the View and Practices derived by that system from the 84 Mahasiddhas.
Since then he has been residing, practising and teaching in the Tibetan town of Bir situated in the Indian mountain state of Himachal. The system of Yoga taught by Roshan and towards the transmission of which the AryaMarga Yoga is founded is called the Anuttara Yoga Tantra. This system of Yoga, the Crest-Gem of all Yogas, is the legacy of the founders of Yoga-the Ancient Lineage of the 84 Mahasiddhas.

Thanida Palat, Co-founder
Thanida, a citizen of Thailand, has been teaching various forms of traditional Hatha Yoga across Thailand and India. She has received advanced Hatha training from Kaivalyadham, Pune, Bihar Yoga Bharati, Munger, Sivananda Ashram, Kerala and JivamuktiYoga, New York.
Having received Yoga training in the Lineage of the 84 Mahasiddhas, Thanida has incorporated her knowledge of the Hatha Asanas with the structure of the 5 element intensification and harmonization practices of the Lineage. This has allowed us to re-introduce the 54 and 108 asanas of the Hatha Mandala as originally taught by the Lineage of the 84 Mahasiddhas.
Thanida conducts research and teaches at the AryaMarga Yoga institute where she is the Co-Founder of the Hatha Yoga Department.

Akshat Madan, Assistant Teacher
Akshat, after having quit his job as a financial advisor, set out to travel the mystical land of Yogis and Sages. He was spellbound by the beauty and diversity that India offered, but found it almost impossible to make any coherent sense of his spiritual experience. The thirst for knowledge remained unsatiated. It was during his meeting with Roshanji, that an instant and deep connection was formed to a living lineage of yogic masters. He took the quantum leap and decided to fully immerse and dedicate himself to this new lifestyle, and since 2015 he’s been living in Bir, practicing, learning and teaching the 4 Yoga system of the 84 Mahasiddha Lineage.
Having completed a teacher training course with AMY in November 2015, he joined team AryaMarga as an assistant Pranayama teacher and a researcher in therapeutic yoga.

Pragna Yeraballi, Assistant Teacher
Pragna worked as an IT engineer for almost a decade. Though adept at understanding the ‘how’ of hardware, she felt thoroughly uneducated about how her own mind-body complex works. Lost somewhere in between the quest for understanding things and the ever-changing answers, she took a sabbatical off her corporate life and tried exploring the path of yoga and meditation.
Call it serendipity, she stumbled upon AryaMarga Yoga, the inheritor of the unbroken ancient Naga lineage. At once, she fell (more aptly rose) in awe and reverence of the yogic teachings offered here.
Having completed 1100-hr teacher training course with AMY in November 2018, she set off for bohemian sojourns in India and took short stints from learning Permaculture to being an educator for an American NGO. In 2023, she came full circle and joined AryaMarga family as an assistant teacher.
